As I write this we are just 15 mts away from knowing who is this years Noble peace prize winner. Its really a weird feeling bothering about a so called prestigious award. May be if I was not in Oslo, Norway I would not have been so concerned about this. I am just a few minutes away from the Peace prize Auditorium.
Since the last 3 weeks that I am here I feel HE getting this award would really help the speeding up of our AOL work in the west (I am teaching a course with 7 people, the smallest course I ever taught). The world at least will look into what has been happening on this planet with the grace and love of Guruji and what they have been missing all these years. Otherwise its kind of funny to even imagine anybody judging about the work of an enlightened Master and awarding him the Peace prize and we getting really excited over it!
I will be back after 10 mts...

Former Finnish president M Ahittasari gets it for his conflict resolution work in Iraq, kosovo and Indonesia. So what does this mean? may be this just means that get on and move your ass. The blessing and grace of the master are more than enough and nothing else is practically "needed" to further the cause.
I get back to work and so do you.

+1 Rashmin. Guruji does NOT need the Nobel Peace Prize. Gandhiji never got it and the world revers him anyways. These awards are more a distraction than anything else. And you are so right - as a volunteer I have wanted Guruji to get the award just so that it would be easy for me to tell people to do the course. Guruji cares about our growth and the well being of people on this planet and not awards .

Got really disappointed just as it was last time... I guess Nobel Prize is meant for Humans...

this year i had decided that i will not bother if guruji gets the prize or not....but somehow found myself looking at the nobel prize website for the whole of the day and sighed when HE didnt win...aarrghhh
may be Guruji too is teaching us a lesson about expectations.

I also wish that He gets the Nobel peace prize, However I feel now we can just drop the idea that that will give a boost to our activities. This sense of relying on it might be pushing it away! It would come to him as if it was redundant!

And it seems that He is answering the prayers of other Nobel peace prize nominees!! His work is anyways happening well, He is uplifting others by offering them the prize!! hahaha!!
