This is a wake up call! We cannot anymore let a bunch of mindless, misguided lunatics ruthlessly walk over us. What are we doing about this? Constantly blaming the Govt, politicians and our security systems every time there is a disaster? When is the common man going to move his ass.

We need to ask ourselves. Each one of us (we are more than a billion!) needs to ask ourselves how am I going to contribute to create peace around me? How am I going to contribute to the society? and DO! for Gods sake DO something about it and stop blaming someone else and while doing so we need to chant the name of the lord and render the whole environment around us with vibrations of peace.

Get out there and plant trees, adopt at least one child every year and see through his/her education so that the same child does not become a terrorist. Every night as we sleep we need to ask ourselves what have I done today that I have the right to go to sleep.

We need to stop denying and condemning our own identity. We are a spiritual nation and our culture of Pranayama, satsang, chanting, service and meditation has to be kept alive. We need to uphold the spiritual values we represent otherwise all this temporary emotional outbursts will only speed up the journey towards disaster.

Time to Act responsibly and having an unshakable faith in our spiritual roots is the need of the hour.

Love
Rashmin

well said and written Rashmin..could feel the intensity from Skovde to here in Mumbai. Anjana arranged a blood donation camp here in Mulund and for those few hours all of us were so happy that we are doing something rather than watching tv news! Gurupooja and Om Namah Shivay chanting followed by a nice satsang ended yesterday and the fear inside all of us.

Well said. And now i know exactly why do i want to go for TTC. Though I couldn't even meditate for last two days. All those scary images kept coming to my mind while I closed my eyes for meditation.

    Jai Gurudev Bhaiya!!!

I think everything said above is very much required..but it's not nearly enough...

One of the causes for all this nonsense to go in peoples head is poverty and it's exploitation by the rich...many of the Fidayeens are just 21 years old! May be sole bread earner for their family (if they have any left)...or doing such things under threat of wiping their family out.

Now the need is not just to do what we are doing, or are good at..We as a youth and yes!+ have to reach out to small countries impart our knowledge there PLUS do something to reduce the poverty, illetracy from the ground level...and with u and bawa and dinesh bhaiya as leaders we can do much more as Yes!+ volunteers...

If we adopt just 2 MDG's and make it our focus then our generation can be known also for eradicating Poverty or illetracy or hyegine issues around the world.
