Every time I run after a peak experience I need to remember what follows. What follows is nothing but a crazy fall down under the ground ending up much below from where I started.

Running after anything that glitters always ends up with ultimately nothing in your hands and tears in your eyes.

Every one of us is wanting to experience the present moment in some or the other way. Right now I am in Oslo and its the year ending for all the students. I am witnessing the weirdest of traditions ever. The graduating students celebrate their graduation for almost 3 weeks and how do they do it?

25 of them rent a bus that costs them around 250,000 kroners ( RS 2000000 ) and a sound system and with loud music they keep going around the town till 3 or 4 in the morning eating tons of meat,smoking, doping and getting drunk till they cannot drink anymore. They drink and drink and drink and most of them cannot speak for a few days after the celebration because of bad throat, bad liver, stomach etc.

This seems to be the best part of their life!

We have a really important job at hand.

    U Really Have a Huge and Perfect Task to make those youth leave their "Traditional" Lifestyle!!!
    I am sure Bhaiya You will surely make things happening in Oslo and make a huge impact on these youth.All the better luck coz the best is today!!!! tomorrow is better!!!! :-)

    Similar state of affairs is seen even in colleges in India ... hostel life is all about sex , drugs , alcohol and meat and they call it a tradition.

    hi Rashmin bhaiya, u must b having a tuff time in Oslo. Wat r these youngsters up 2?? I m sure wid Guruji's grace, u wud do wonders. v r all very proud of u & miss u very much. I was dishertened 2 c dat even after all d campaigns like Jaagore.com etc, only 47% ppl voted here in b'lore. yet, i m very inspired by YES+ team's work spe. in mumbai persuading people 2 vote.

    Now I am more aware of whats happening in the mind and body when it is running after a peak experience and also I can very well see the painful outcome beforehand

    its so true about the peak experience. and falling down hard. here what i get reminded of is what Guruji says, If you follow knowledge, fun follows you and if you follow fun, misery follows you." this is the best example for this and things could not have been put in a better perspective.
